Deleting trades in SniperJournal is quick once you know where each control lives. There are three ways to do it, depending on how many trades you want gone — one, a handful, or the whole account. One thing to keep in mind before you start: deletions are permanent. There is no trash and no undo, so the app always asks you to confirm.
Delete a single trade
In the Journal, every row has a trash icon on the far right, in the last column. Click it, confirm "Are you sure you want to delete this trade?", and it is gone. Its numbers drop out of your dashboard immediately.
Delete several at once
This is the step most people miss: the checkboxes are hidden until you turn them on.
1. Click Select in the toolbar above the table. A checkbox now appears on every row, plus a "select all" box in the header.
2. Tick the trades you want to remove — or use the header box to grab the whole list at once.
3. Click Delete trades in the action bar. It shows how many you picked ("N selected") and asks you to confirm ("Delete N trade(s)? This cannot be undone.").
Delete every trade in an account
To wipe a whole account in one shot, go to Settings and open Delete All Trades. Because it is destructive, it asks you to confirm twice, then resets that account's metrics to zero.
Check which account is selected first. Delete All Trades clears the account you have selected right now. If you run several accounts and have more than one selected at the same time — the combined view — the wipe will not clear what you expect; it needs a single account selected. So pick just the one account you want to empty before you open Settings, confirm it is the only one selected, then delete. To clear several accounts, do them one at a time.
Remove the example data
New accounts start with a "Demo (Example)" portfolio so the app is not empty on day one. When you are ready to work with your own data, click Remove demo data in the top bar — it clears the example account in one step and the button disappears once it is gone. Your own portfolios and trades are never touched.
FAQ
Can I undo a delete? No. Deletions are permanent, so double-check before you confirm.
Why don't I see any checkboxes? You have to click Select first — that turns on the per-row checkboxes for deleting (or editing) several trades at once.
I deleted all my trades but some are still there. They belong to another account. Delete All Trades only clears the account you had selected — switch to the other account and repeat.
Does deleting a trade change my stats? Yes. Your dashboard, analytics and metrics recalculate right away.
